Choose your desktop environment, explore Namada’s decentralised ecosystem and keep practical guidance close. Namada Wallet brings platform selection, Launch App and network knowledge into one place.
NAM / NATIVE ASSETNAMADA NETWORK
ONE NATIVE ASSET. A WIDER NETWORK CONTEXT.
The coin, in context
NAM. Native to Namada.
The native token of the Namada network. A part of how the protocol is secured, governed and shaped by its participants.
Proof of stake
Validators and delegators bond NAM to participate in the network’s consensus system.
On-chain governance
NAM stakers take part in proposals and voting on the direction of the protocol.
Namada’s privacy infrastructure brings multiple assets into a shared shielded context. NAM belongs to that wider ecosystem; the network, its interfaces and its signing tools each have distinct roles.
Explore the network through the interface and signing workflow you choose.
The protocol is shared. The responsibilities are distinct.
A network, an interface and a signer perform different jobs. Explore one layer at a time, without treating them as interchangeable products.
NAMADA / NETWORK
A common set of rules.
Network rules and shared state belong to the Namada protocol. NAM is native to that network; interfaces present actions and signing tools authorise requests.
Shielding, IBC and governance are protocol mechanisms. The interface presents its supported actions; your signing tool gives each request its own authorisation step.
An interface presents balances, network information and actions supported by that application. Namadillo is a separate community interface described in Namada’s start guide.
Check the host, the selected network and the action being requested. An interface can ask for a signature; it does not replace the signer’s approval step.
Windows, macOS and Linux versions are grouped on the homepage. Match your operating system and verify the application publisher and package instructions before installing software.
Use the platform label and version to orient your choice, then follow the package publisher’s installation instructions.
Open an installed application directly from your desktop. Launch App offers a website entry point and checks whether an application connection can be opened.
Use Search Again to repeat the check, or return to platform selection. Account access and transaction authorisation stay in the relevant application.
Read the full destination, asset, amount, network and fees in the relevant signing tool. Check the requested permissions and pause if the action differs from your intention.
The help centre and local help panel explain these checks without connecting to an account. Never enter recovery phrases, private keys or real credentials in a website field.
